Danish Baptist Women’s Network - 90 years jubilee (1927–2017)

The Danish Baptist Women’s Network is 90 years old this year. The women’s network was founded in 1927 and was called “the sisters’ union” then. At first 24 fellowships came together. Mary Larsen was the first president.

On Tuesday 18th July 2017 we celebrated in a special way the 90 years of the network during the Sommercamp of the Baptists in Lindenborg at Roskilde. At 1.30 PM we had the annual conference including coffee and layer cake. Afterwards pastor Kathrine Lilleør gave an exciting lecture on ”Forgiveness and Reconciliation”. The day ended with an arrangement “women to women”, where we had a cosy time together.

The next arrangement in connection with the jubilee is  a journey to Bulgaria in September this year.
