After Moscow

Dear Sisters,

God blessed the Baptist Congress of the CIC countries in an unusual way, also women's conference and my attendance. At this meeting took part about 800 participants. One afternoon there were 1500 people, mostly men in the First Baptist Church in Moscow. It was very touching experience for me when I saw how many people are "hungry" of God's Word. People were everywhere exactly. It was no space and possibility to move...

This congress was the 50th Anniversary of Evangelical Baptist Union of the CIS countries. During the meeting was elected a new board. The president is from Armenia - brother Rubik Pahlevanyan. Two brothers - Alexander Shumilin from and Gregory Komendant will help him.

The women had had also their meeting through the one day. At this meeting took part sisters from almost all the countries. There were not representatives from Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. The situation in our Baptist family in Georgia is rather difficult. It was a very good conference. I could hear very good testimonies how God works in this part of Europe and Asia through women. There were also elected a new committee. The president is Ludmila Pavliouchenko from Russia. Her helpers are: Nataliya Skomorkhova form Uzbekistan and Nadia Komendant. So please pray for this new sisters.

Love to all of you!
