Autumn - often it is not our favourite season. Cold and rain, fog and wind. While the trees dress up in their colourful leaves, people put on brown or black coats, dark jackets. They close the doors and create their inside world. While outside everything turns silent, mysterious. As we walk in the streets the cold air refreshes our lungs, ruffles our hair.

Is there anything nice in the fall? Of course! Remember as you bite an apple or taste a nice grape. Isn't it good! Yes, we agree, it is an absolutely nice feeling. So, autumn is the season of harvest! We talk a lot about global warming.

We talk, we are afraid, but we don't do anything. In spite of all these problems caused by a lifestyle full of technical things and growing industrialisation, we still have everything we need, and even more in Europe. Does it inspire us to thanksgiving?

As Christians we know everything that we have comes from our Heavenly Father. He provides us bread, water, fresh air. We collect all kinds of crops from the fields through these months. And we say thanks. Traditionally we celebrate thanksgiving services in Hungary.

Praise the Lord for his mercy and love! Praise his name for everything He gives us. Ask the Almighty God in your prayers to bless your food, to bless your life, to bless everyone who turns to him this autumn.
