I
had the privilege to visit Belarus in the coldest month of a year -
January - but experienced God's peoples" love which makes us warm. At
the beginning of February EBWU Committee officers were kindly hosted by
the Baptist Union of Hungary and the Theological Seminary in Budapest
which Aniko arranged. We planned and prayed for all of you and future
plans.
In
March was the EBF meeting in Belgrade, Serbia. It was encouraging to
know our brothers and sisters work hard to rebuild and enlarge their
church.
In April was planned to have the Executive Committee meeting in Denia,
Spain. But God stopped us in a special way through volcano ash in
Iceland. God spoke to us in a special way: have you forgotten that I Am
Sovereign even over the vault of the heaven! I stopped short before God
and asked: What are You teaching!?
And we cancelled this meeting and met 3 weeks later in Prague after the
NEBWiM conference. The NEBWiM conference theme was: "Worship in the
Seasons of Life". In all our difficulties we experience specially God's
blessings and leading.
Finally may I ask for your prayers: for the Leadership Conference in
Hawaii in July. I hope to see some of you there. And pray for Leaders
and new Leaders" Conference in Budapest, Hungary in November this year.
I thank you for your prayer support till now and the hospitality that I
have received in your countries visiting you.
